As firm believers in falling in love with reading at an early age, Pitch was delighted to work with Sally Rippin, one of Australia’s best-loved, most dedicated and highest selling children’s authors. Our campaign for the 10 year anniversary of the Billie B Brown series celebrated its impact on readers, parents and the publishing industry by placing coverage beyond the usual outlets for kids books.
Highlight media in the Herald Sun, ABC TV’s News Breakfast and syndicated content in Australian Community Media created awareness of the new Billie B stories but also reflection on representation and literacy for early readers. A year later, the launch campaign for the Little Monsters series expanded discussion of these issues for younger readers. Through panel discussions on ABC Radio and coverage on parenting and book review sites, Pitch’s campaign introduced these vibrant new characters to encourage and entertain the next generation of readers.
