Kate Fitz-Gibbon on ABC News Breakfast with Michael Rowland and Stephanie Ferrier

A critical voice in the ongoing debate around the prevention of domestic and family violence, Kate Fitz-Gibbon is an internationally recognised expert in domestic and family violence, and the impacts of policy and practice reform in Australia and around the world.

Pitch worked with Kate on her two titles for Monash University Publishing’s In the National Interest series, released in 2021 and 2024 respectively, which present compelling research, statistics and case studies that explain why violence against women and children is not a series of isolated incidents but a pervasive, systemic issue and why an emphasis on prevention is critical.

Our campaign work has connected key journalists, commentators and media outlets covering national affairs and politics, legal, business and social affairs with Kate’s expertise and findings, with a strategic focus on starting conversations around the role that leaders, communities, individuals and workplaces can play in addressing this national crisis, and more broadly, tackling gender inequality in this country.
